Who we are
A manufacturer, not a merchant.
VANKKA rolls, cuts, folds and finishes steel in its own facility in Finland. The profiles, the trims that close them and the bespoke pieces that no catalogue covers all come off the same lines, out of the same coil.
That matters more than it sounds. A trim folded from the same batch as the roof matches it exactly — a trim bought elsewhere in the same nominal colour never quite does. A profile drawn and produced under one roof can be engineered for the load it will actually carry rather than selected from a table. And when a specification is wrong, the person who tells you is the person who would otherwise have manufactured it.
Everything we make is designed for a climate that finds every weak detail: a hundred-degree annual temperature swing, months of standing snow, meltwater, and a freeze-thaw cycle that works at a roof until something moves. Products engineered for that perform comfortably wherever else they are installed.

Manufacture, not assembly
We form, cut, fold and finish in our own facility. Nothing critical is subcontracted, so nothing critical is outside our control.

Every delivery carries its production run and batch. A matching sheet can be produced years later.

Manufacturing and engineering sit together in Jyväskylä. From there, VANKKA systems reach international markets through a distributor network across three continents — each distributor the local route to the same steel.

Coil handling, roll-forming, coating inspection, cut-to-length and custom bending all happen under one roof, alongside the technical team that specifies the systems. Every profile leaving the line is measured against the same tolerances, whether it ships to a site an hour away or across the Atlantic.
